Terms of Service
The rules for using CzynszOK: what we do, what it costs, what rights you have and how to contact us.
Who provides the service
The CzynszOK service (czynszok.pl) is provided by Tomasz Żyłka, a sole proprietor trading as Tomasz Żyłka Veinito.com, Bierzycka 8, 51-179 Wrocław, Poland. NIP: PL6452337008, REGON: 521704806. Contact: pomoc@czynszok.pl.
Acceptance
You enter the agreement to use CzynszOK by ticking acceptance of these Terms on the consent screen, before connecting your bank. You enter the agreement for a paid certificate by paying for it. The Privacy policy describes how we process your data; you do not need to accept it. Consent to the bank read is a separate box on the same screen.
What CzynszOK does
On your instruction we read, once and read-only (PSD2, through the licensed provider Enable Banking), the data of your bank accounts: at most 2 banks with at most 2 accounts each, banks outside Poland included. We check the identity of the account holder, the regularity of inflows across all connected accounts against the rent you typed and, if you choose, your rent payment history and whether the connected accounts usually hold the deposit amount you typed. Two people renting together may issue one joint certificate: each signs in with their own e-mail, gives their own consent and connects their own accounts, and neither sees the other’s figures. On that basis we issue a certificate with a QR code. The landlord sees on it only the name as the bank has it (both names on a joint certificate), the rent and, if chosen, the deposit amount with an OK, the chosen checks, dates and the banks’ names. We show income figures and balances to nobody but you. We delete the raw bank data once the result is computed.
What CzynszOK does not do
CzynszOK is not a payment institution, does not hold or transfer your money and never sees your bank login or password. We do not assess creditworthiness, do not query registers (BIK, KRD, BIG) and do not give opinions on your trustworthiness. The certificate confirms solely what follows from the data read from the bank on the date of issue. The decision to rent is made by the landlord.
Who may use the service
You must be at least 18 and the holder or joint holder of every account you connect. You may not connect someone else’s account or issue a certificate in someone else’s name. On a joint certificate each of the two people meets these conditions for their own accounts and connects them personally. A joint certificate is issued by the person who started it, on behalf of both people, on the basis of the consent the other person gave when joining.
Technical requirements
You need an up-to-date web browser with JavaScript enabled, an email address to which we will send the sign-in code, and access to online banking at a bank supported by Enable Banking.
Price and payment
Issuing one certificate costs 49 zł gross (VAT included), paid once through Stripe (card, BLIK and other methods shown at payment) before the certificate is issued, once you know the result from the bank. The price covers every connected account (up to 4 per person, up to 8 on a joint certificate), the deposit check and the joint certificate; on a joint certificate the person who started it pays. The landlord pays nothing. We issue a VAT invoice if at payment you state that you buy for a business and give a NIP; it arrives by e-mail. Otherwise you receive a payment confirmation by e-mail. A discount code lowers the price as described with it.
Certificate
The certificate is valid for 90 days from issue and covers one rent amount; a different amount means a new certificate and a new bank read. The status of the certificate (valid, expired, revoked) is checked with the QR code or at czynszok.pl/v; neither a screenshot nor a PDF is a certificate. You can revoke the certificate in the app at any time.
Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving any reason. This right expires when the certificate is issued if, before payment, you expressly agree to its issue before that period ends and acknowledge that you will lose the right of withdrawal (Article 38(1)(1) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, art. 38 ust. 1 pkt 1 ustawy o prawach konsumenta). If you pay and the certificate is not issued, we refund the full amount within 14 days using the same payment method. To withdraw, write to pomoc@czynszok.pl: "I withdraw from the contract for the issue of a CzynszOK certificate concluded on [date]", stating your first name, last name and the email address used in CzynszOK.
Rules of use
You may not: provide false data, connect someone else's account, alter the certificate or a copy of it in order to mislead anyone, guess certificate codes or attempt to disrupt the service. If you breach these rules, we may revoke the certificate and block access.
Liability
We are responsible for computing the result diligently from the data provided by the bank. We are not responsible for errors in the data provided by the bank or for the landlord's decisions. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect damage; towards business customers, our total liability does not exceed the price paid for the certificate. These limitations do not apply to consumers to the extent that mandatory provisions of law prohibit them, nor to damage caused intentionally.
Revocation and data deletion
You can revoke a certificate in the app. You delete your account and all data with the button in Account, at once; without access to the app, write to pomoc@czynszok.pl and, once you confirm with a code from the email, we will delete everything within 72 hours. Details of data processing are set out in the Privacy Policy.
Complaints
Send complaints to pomoc@czynszok.pl. We will confirm receipt within 7 days and reply on the merits within 14 days. If you are a consumer, you may also use out-of-court methods of dispute resolution, for example the help of a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (miejski lub powiatowy rzecznik konsumentów) or of the provincial inspectorate of the Trade Inspection (wojewódzki inspektorat Inspekcji Handlowej).
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Polish law. The choice of law does not deprive consumers of the protection afforded to them by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country of their habitual residence. Disputes with consumers are settled by the court having jurisdiction under the general rules, and disputes with businesses by the court having jurisdiction over the service provider's registered place of business (Wrocław). Before you go to court, write to us: we will try to resolve the matter within 30 days.
Changes to these Terms
We will inform you by email of material changes to these Terms at least 14 days before they take effect. The changes do not apply to certificates already paid for. If you do not agree with them, you may delete your account before that date.
